My name is Karina and I'm a stroke survivor. My mission here is simple : help!
Through suffering a brainstem dissection at the age of 25 followed by 7+ years of therapies, maintaining existing relationships ,having a then16 month old baby, divorce, work and mourning the old karina.
Sharing the different life adaptations I had to use .From beauty to cooking and learning to feel, think and love myself again. Im paying it forward AND IM OWNING MY STROKE.....because it's mine & nobody elses.

Who better to talk about a subject as such, than a person who has been through it and is fighting everyday to NOT just exist but live!
NO I'm not a doctor, I'm just a STROKE SURVIVOR .
From sexual abuse counseling, psychologist, ocupational therapists, speach therapist, physiotherapist, CBT counseling to my personal favorite....social workers. With their guidance and my RESILIENCE, today I'm living my best life and manifesting my futur.:))
If i can help just one person feel better about themselves, my job is done!! :-)
THE PURPOSE OF WHY I'M HERE
I wish to create a safe community here and in my podcast SURVIVING THE ODDS ( launching March 2021) where survivors, care givers and children of all gender, no gender, any age can feel safe inside their heart and mind by communicating with me and helping one another. I will also make everybody have a voice within my voice.
Being here is just as much for me as it is for you. I love you xx Karina.
